Design projects can sometimes take on a life of their own if everything is just right with the designer and client. But since that isn't always the case we can't easily put the same price on every order. Projects vary is size and scope so prices vary just as much. Please reach out with your idea and budget in mind and we can customize your package. We offer a variety of services to our clients ranging from basic graphic design to brand strategy and event coordinating.

Retainer Fee

Read below to learn more about hiring a designer on retainer for ongoing projects and design needs.

If you know you're going to need on-going design work, or if your branding changes on a timely basis, or if you have to give constant updates to your clients/consumers then you should inquire about a custom retainer package.  

Fees are paid up-front and you're needs are guaranteed because your time is locked into the schedule. Design work is discounted because you're basically "buying in bulk" according to your needs. Your timelines remain consistent and you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it. 

Less Paperwork -  Eliminate contracts to sign and multiple invoices to track on a per project basis.

Discounts - You get discounted rate compared to normal freelance fees. The more hours you commit, the lower the hourly rate. 

Simplified Accounting - You pay a set amount each month for the duration of the retainer contract.

No Overhead - You get the access to a professional designer without the overhead associated with hiring a full time employee. 

Graphic Design Retainer Details:

  • 3 month minimum commitment. At the end of 3 months, we will re-evaluate your program to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. After that, we can move to 6, 9, or 12 month commitments.

  • Each retainer includes a set number of hours each month. Overage in time will be billed at our current hourly rate of $45 p/hr.

  • Unused hours will expire. They do not roll over each month as that would defeat the purpose of allocating retainer time each month for projects. If we are running close on hours hitting their threshold, we will let you know before going over.

  • You will get a detailed invoice each month of the projects worked and hours allocated to them.

What type of services can be used in the Graphic Designer Retainer program?

  • Graphic Design - logos for new products/services, icons, specials, and typography treatments, small projects

  • Design for Print Materials - sell sheets, direct mailers, brochures, newsletters, flyers, banners, promos, etc

  • Digital Materials - Social Media graphics, Blog Banners, and other web elements

  • Web - content, graphics and web maintenance can be provided for select customers. This does not include content copy.

  • Services do not include additional costs required from other online resources. ie; iStock Photos, or Getty Images.

  • Additional services are available upon request. We can tailor most needs.

How do we get started?

1. EMAIL ME DIRECTLY. We will set up a 30-minute consultation so we can hear more about your project[s] and get to know each other. We want to learn all about your business and goals. We’ll review your business needs and upcoming projects. The retainer program is for repeat clients, so if we haven't yet worked together, lets start by working on something amazing! 

2. First payment. Once the paperwork is completed and the first retainer fee is paid, we will setup all your projects needed for the month in our monthly review call. We will layout our game plan and prioritize your graphics needs ahead of time.

*Payment for the month ahead will be due on the 1st of each month*

3. Repeat. We will repeat the process each month for the remainder of the program you selected. 

4. Reevaluate. At the end of your contract, we will review the program to see if you want to adjust the number of hours reserved.
